DIVE OMAN – DIVE GLOBAL SCUBA

Global Scuba
is European managed -
Monique Borlée – Belgian – Looks after the Marketing and reservations and being fluent in French, Dutch, German and English and good Spanish communication is rarely a problem.
Keith Holt – British – looks after the administration and all the bureaucracies
Yannick Borlée – Belgian – General Manager and Diving Instructor – looks after the operations of the Company.

Operations
Global Scuba is based at the Civil Aviation Club (CAC) where we have purpose built premises. In addition to being a PADI Gold Palm 5* IDC we are also recognised as a Beuchat Dive Centre and BSAC Resort. A wide selection of PADI courses and specialities are available – refer to (Click to PADI for details)

There is diving equipment for hire for up to 25 divers, and sufficient tanks for up to 30 divers.

Dive Sites
Being based at CAC Global Scuba dives daily at The Daymaniyat Islands, which are only some 35 minutes by boat. These Islands offer the best diving in the Middle East, and given the choice, all divers and snorkellers will prefer this as a destination when they Dive Oman. Turtles are regularly seen, and Moray Eeels are very common. The secondary destination is Fahal Island – renowned for shark and ray sightings.

Holidays
Global Scuba has several packages with leading hotels in Oman catering for a variety of budgets so that all vacation needs are covered.

Boats
AHLAM AL MUNA (Dream of Muna)
BAHAR SAHAM (Sea of Saham)
31'boats powered by 2 x Yamaha 200HP four stroke outboard engines.
Heavier than our other boats and with more draft they give a particularly comfortable ride even in rough seas.

DUFDA AL BAHAR II (Frog of the Sea 2)
BEDU (Bedouin)
33’ boats powered by 2 X 115HP Yamaha and 2 X 130HP Honda four stroke outboard engines respectively.
The boats are specifically designed for diving with racks for 20 bottles.
Although licensed for 14, we try to limit the number of diving passengers to 8 so there is plenty of room.

DUFDA AL BAHAR
A 25’ boat powered by 2 X 75HP Yamaha outboard engines
It’s licensed capacity is 10 and is used for smaller groups of divers and for visiting Fahal Island -our secondary destination.

Documentation
The following is available for inspection ( aside from the normal Commercial Registration, Tourism Licence, Municipality Licence etc.)

Royal Oman Police Civil Defence clearance for premises and boats
Ministry of Environment Diving Licence
Full insurance for Public and Passenger Liability
All boats hold valid licences and also hold Commercial Registration from Ministry of Transport and Communications as Diving and Tourism boats.
